About Common Bond

In our day jobs, we're a diverse group of people... a graphics designer, a shipping manager, college students, a truck driver, a management consultant, and an RN. But we share a "common bond" of love for God, other people, and each other. 

The concept for Common Bond began in 2005 as part of a worship song-writing collaboration on the "Brand New Day" project. The purpose of the "Brand New Day" project (released December 2010) and the subsequent worship events the band will be leading beginning June 26, 2011 is to rally fellow Christians to join with us in the "common bond" of love we share as believers to provide financial resources to aid the Haitian people. To this end, the band covered the production costs of the "Brand New Day" project. They choose not to receive anything for their expenses in leading worship events in other churches in order to direct all the CD sales proceeds and free will love offerings to the missions work in which their home congregation, Capital Area Christian Church, engages in Haiti.
